This call will provide applicants and/or CEOs with guidance on scoping and framing of the improvement project, assembling the right team, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic priorities, stakeholder engagement, and engagement of patient partners. If you would like to request a pre-coaching call please contact us at EXTRA-FORCES@hec-esc.ca
Healthcare Excellence Canada, guided by the perspectives of First Nations, Inuits and Métis peoples, fosters shared learning and enhanced relationships that enable cultural safety and humility in health systems. Healthcare Excellence Canada values engaging and co-designing improvement with patients, families, caregivers and indigenous communities. We strongly encourage you to involve members of these communities in the development, and implementation of your improvement project. EXTRA program curriculum will reflect these values.
Applicants will be notified of decisions in September 2021. If you would like to speak with someone about the EXTRA program or the application process, please contact us at EXTRA-FORCES@hec-esc.ca.
